GOTS Certified Clothing Manufacturing
FOCS is a GOTS certified clothing manufacturer β we hold the licence ourselves, covering knitting, dyeing, cutting and sewing under one roof. That means your order is certified at the factory level, not assembled from uncertified subcontractors. Every shipment carries a GOTS transaction certificate issued against your purchase order: the document your retailer, certifier or customs authority will actually ask for.
Search for GOTS clothing suppliers and you will find hundreds who βwork with GOTS certified factories.β That phrase usually means the trading company buys certified fabric and has it sewn at an uncertified facility β technically voiding the certification. The only proof that matters is whether the manufacturer holds a current GOTS licence for the exact process steps your garments go through. FOCS does, and we show the scope certificate before you commit to anything.
GOTS certification is not a one-time trophy: it requires annual audits, chemical input management (every dye and auxiliary must be GOTS-approved), segregated organic production, and social compliance. We maintain 9 certifications in parallel β GOTS, RWS, GRS, OEKO-TEX 100 Class I, BSCI, Higg Index, BCI, ISO 14001 and FSC β because our EU brand clients are audited by their own retailers, and they need suppliers whose paperwork holds up at every level.
For organic cotton clothing wholesale programs, the transaction certificate is the product. We issue TCs per order in your PO reference, keep digital records for 5 years, and can provide additional test reports (OEKO-TEX, azo-free, formaldehyde) for regulated markets including Germany, France and the Nordics.
GOTS licence covers every process step β certification cannot be voided by subcontracting.
Transaction certificates issued against your PO, records kept for 5 years.
BSCI and Higg Index data shared directly β survive your retailer's supplier audits.
It means the manufacturer holds a Global Organic Textile Standard licence covering the physical processes your garments pass through β knitting, dyeing, cutting and sewing. GOTS guarantees the fibre is certified organic and that processing meets environmental and social criteria.
Yes. Every GOTS production run receives a transaction certificate issued against your purchase order. This is the document retailers and customs authorities use to verify organic claims.
Our model is made-to-order manufacturing (MOQ 500 pcs per style/color) rather than stock wholesale. This guarantees your goods are produced under current certification and can be customized to your specs, labels and packaging.
We share our current GOTS scope certificate directly β you can also check the public GOTS database. Always verify the licence covers sewing, not just trading, when evaluating suppliers.
Primarily Germany, France, the Nordics, Netherlands, UK, US and Canada β markets where retailers actively verify organic claims and where our documentation package is proven.
