  • Solid color: most economical. Dye-lot critical.
  • Jacquard pattern: knitted-in pattern, no silicone on the pattern area. Premium pricing.

8. Validate performance with a hand-feel test

When comparing samples from different factories, always perform a hand-feel test on the silicone. Cheap silicone feels plastic-y and slightly tacky in a non-uniform way. Premium medical-grade silicone feels uniform and flexible. The difference is detectable in a 30-second inspection.

9. Plan for medical channel if applicable

If your grip socks will be used in a medical context (hospital fall prevention, post-surgery, elderly care), they may be Class I medical devices in some jurisdictions.
